Here at Seventh Sense Software we know that presentation matters and we appreciate the importance of fine visualisation. No matter how good the underlying mathematics may be, poor presentation of data or results can mean the difference between success and failure for a research project or business opportunity.
And that is why we have worked so hard to make sure that the Chameleon Statistics suite offers some of the finest statistical visualisation techniques available anywhere. Below we give just a small sample of the kinds of visualisation provided.
The
scatter plot view provides one, two or three-dimensional representations
of any multivariate data set. All scatterplot images can be rotated in two
or three dimensions in real time, even as you work on the data. The scatter
plot view is highly configurable, from the choice of visualisation scheme
to the selection of colours and symbols for classes to the font settings
for sample labels. The 3D orientation of the axes, the position of origin,
and the scale are all freely adjustable.

The binary tree view displays the dendogram resulting from hierarchical
clustering. The dendogram is also fully configurable, viewable horizontally
and vertically in city block or pyramidal schemes and in a wide range of
styles. Both clusters and subclusters of clusters may be defined and coloured
as desired. The dendogram can be traversed and manipulated easily using
the mouse and cursor keys. Both log scale and linear scale are supported
for merging heights. [Continued...]
